Job Title: Conservation Corps (CC) Project Coordinator
Supervisor: Conservation Corps Director
Employment Dates: Hired – June 1: Hours worked prior to camp, between 5-10 hours per week, remote and scheduled time planning and preparing for camp; flexible schedule. June 2 – July 19: Residential, overnight camp at the Campsite at Shield Ranch. This position will require living on-site during residential camp dates.
Residential salary: $6,600 from June 2 – July 19 with housing, meals, and board provided during the camp sessions.
Hourly rate: $18-20 per hour for time working outside of June 2- July 19 (depending on experience).

Conservation Corps (CC) is an overnight camp for 9th–12th graders focusing on nature immersion, community building, leadership development, and job training. Campers, called Corps members, learn valuable job skills while earning a stipend for their work. The CC Project Coordinator guides Corps members through a conservation project, such as building a trail or restoring wildlands, and works with the Campsite Education Director and CC Director to keep the project on schedule. A detailed project plan, including an overview and daily progress goals, will be provided. This role also supports camp activities and programs outside of the project.
