Join us for Forest Bathing, led by Justine Kies, an ANFT-certified guide. Forest Bathing is based on the Japanese healing practice of “shinrin-yoku,” which focuses on the health benefits of spending time immersed in the natural world.
Let your senses come alive as we walk about 1.5 miles of tranquil shaded, creekside trails, pausing for guided mindfulness sessions. Participants will use their senses to connect with nature through guided invitations and prompts. Group-sharing circles and moments of reflection are woven throughout this mindfulness experience.
This experience includes walking on trails with both flat and uneven terrain, with some elevation. A light snack will be provided.
Connect with nature amidst the serene setting of Shield Ranch Barton Creek, 6,600 acres of protected wildlands located just 20 miles from downtown Austin.
