Shield Ranch to Host Bird Conservation Workshop — Nov. 18

What: Whether you’re managing hundreds of acres, an experienced birder eager to learn the latest conservation strategies, or simply looking to attract more wildlife to your own backyard — this workshop has something for you! Join Travis Audubon, Shield Ranch, and the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department (TPWD) for a half-day of learning, connection, and exploration centered around wildlife management.
 
When: Tues., Nov. 18, 2025; 8 am – noon  

Where: Campsite at Shield Ranch; 10417 Crumley Ranch Rd., Austin, Texas 78738
(Gate code and liability waiver will be sent ahead of visit)

Cost:  $65 (Travis Audubon members’ cost: $50)
