Quiet Day Retreat at Shield Ranch — March 7  

What: Step into stillness at Shield Ranch, a designated International Quiet Place, and spend a day intentionally slowing down. The Quiet Day Retreat is a restorative experience designed to help you reset your balance through mindful reflection, gentle movement, and sensory engagement — woven seamlessly into the landscape.

When: Saturday, March 7, 2026; 9 am – 4 pm  

Where:  Campsite at Shield Ranch; 10417 Crumley Ranch Rd., Austin, TX 78738   

Cost: $95 adults, $75 with limited Wild for Good scholarship; adults only. All activities, lunch, snacks, and beverages are included.

Registration: Early registration is available for the Wild for Good Circle on Friday, January 23. The registration deadline is Monday, March 2.

Guided activities include:

  • Gentle, fireside yoga with Cynthia Aguillón Bernard, founder of ATX Yoga Girl
  • Nature journaling 
  • Nature sketching 

There will be ample free and unstructured time to wander, rest, or simply be. A nourishing lunch, snacks, and beverages will be provided by Chef Addie. Whether you are seeking creative renewal, mental clarity, or a deeper connection to nature, this retreat offers space to ground yourself in quiet and presence.

Wild for Good: The Quiet Day Retreat is hosted by the Shield Ranch Foundation. By attending a program or reserving the Campsite, you help support El Ranchito and retreat scholarships, conservation efforts, and provide access for small nonprofits to use the Campsite.
