Job Title: Nature Discovery Camp Director
Supervisor: Campsite Education Director

Employment Dates:
March – May 31: Hours worked prior to camp, between 5-10 hours remote and scheduled time planning and preparing for camp; flexible schedule.
June 1– July 18: Residential, overnight camp at the Campsite at Shield Ranch. This position will require living on site during residential camp dates.
Residential salary: $6,000 from June 1 – July 18 with housing, meals, and board provided during the camp sessions
Hourly Rate: $20 per hour for time working outside of June 1- July 18
Location: Campsite at Shield Ranch, 10417 Crumley Ranch Road, Austin, TX 78738
The Nature Discovery Camp (NDC) Director is responsible for leading the planning, implementation, and day-to-day operations of camp. This role includes overseeing staff, managing camper recruitment and registration, leading curriculum and activities, and ensuring an exceptional camp experience for all participants. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with a passion for outdoor education, youth development, and nature immersion.
